Large Triangle agency is looking for a Benefits Account Manager:

The Account Manager is responsible for providing day-to-day and consultative support to develop and maintain relationships with clients.

Must have 3-5 years Insurance Benefits experience to be considered.

The Account Managers are responsible for evaluating, designing, implementing, and maintaining client and individual benefit programs. This also includes educating clients on the administration of benefit plans and compliance issues, as well as, acting as the liaison between the client and carriers. Account Managers is responsible for delivering high quality services around all client interactions both verbal and written.

Build and maintain excellent relationships with HR staff and decision makers. Advise clients of any carrier and/or plan issues that may affect the members. Manage all escalated client level issues and claims that have been transitioned from client. Communicate policy provisions to the client.

Benefit Program Preparation of employee communication as it relates to client renewal activity. Attend Implementation client meetings and visits. Coordinate client benefit and administration specifics (benefits, rates, underwriting, etc). Communicate client expectations of open enrollment process. Conduct open enrollment meetings as requested. Creation and coordination of employee communication materials (benefit summaries, etc). New business implementation.

Client Services; Assist employees with enrollment issues including eligibility questions. Manage issues with late enrollee restrictions, over-age dependent requirements, and presentation of the results to the employer/employee.

Market Analysis: Coordination of proposals, carrier materials and tasks associated with small/large group proposals. Communicate with the producer to be sure an accurate, complete proposal is ready at a pre-determined time.

Sales Team Support: Provide support to the Producer on all new business and renewing business activity including benefit plan design strategy and employee communication.
