Aubie Knight has over 18 years of Big "I" association experience and 21 years as a licensed insurance agent. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of the Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia (IIAG), having held the top leadership position since 2010. During his 18 year tenure with IIAG, Knight gained senior management experience in all aspects of the association's operations as well as having served on numerous IIABA committees and task forces at the national level. Prior to joining the IIAG staff in 1996, Knight worked as a producer for Mutual of Omaha Companies where he was named Rookie of the Year in 1992. A graduate of the University of Georgia (UGA), Knight has been a part-time instructor of risk management & insurance classes in the UGA Terry College of Business since 2007. He served as Chairman of the Board for the Georgia Society of Association Executives (GSAE) in 2013 and is a 2009 graduate of GSAE's Leadership Academy.

With over 24 years of Personal Insurance Field Sales and Producer Development experience, Jeff Graham has partnered with Independent Agents and consults with them on agency operations and consultative sales effectiveness. With national responsibility for the delivery of Agency Operations and Sales Development Workshops, Jeff works with agency personnel and agency owners on addressing internal infrastructure inefficiencies and provides guidance to establish procedures that will improve the overall effectiveness of agency performance in areas such as job designs, workflow, compensation, marketing strategies, mergers and acquisitions. Jeff has also provided loss mitigation education to Consumers for Community Based Organizations.

At Travelers, Jeff assists in the development of the Field Sales organization by facilitating workshops for new hire training classes for Travelers’ Sales Executives - equipping them with consultative skills to enhance and foster mutually viable partnerships with Independent Agents.

Jeff has a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Hampton University, Hampton, VA, is a Certified Instructor in the delivery of Continued Education Training through the Saenger Consulting Group, and has completed Professional Sales Skills and Professional Sales Coaching by Achieve Global.

David W. Tralka has more than 25 years of experience in banking and financial services.  As President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Tralka is responsible for keeping the bank focused on being an innovative provider of financial products and services for the independent agency community. He brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the helm of InsurBanc. As a seasoned banker, his career is distinguished by an extensive tenure at Merrill Lynch where he served in a number of senior management positions including President of Merrill Lynch Bank and Trust in Princeton, NJ, and Chairman of Merrill Lynch Community Development Company.  
 
Mr. Tralka holds an MBA from Northwestern University and a BA in economics from Cornell University.

This timely presentation will give a brief summary of the current challenges within the North Carolina workers' compensation system and how they affect the insurance industry. Additionally, there will be a presentation on enhanced enforcement of the requirement to provide workers' compensation insurance and legislative efforts to address some of the long-standing problems within the system.

Stuart is Vice President where he oversees the association’s E&O and employee benefits programs as well as manages the North Carolina Association of Insurance Agents – the exclusive insurance agency for the state of North Carolina. He is also a valuable resource for members - providing technical support and information. Stuart is well-known across the country for his vast insurance knowledge and regularly teaches for IIANC and other insurance organizations. He is also on the national faculty for the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors.
