iMarkets: UPC Insurance

2015 IIANC PRESIDENTIAL PARTNER
UPC Insurance is a standard homeowners market that specializes in cat-prone property. Founded in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1999, the company carries a rating of "A" Exceptional by Demotech, Inc. You can learn more about UPC Insurance by visiting www.upcinsurance.com. UPC is a proud supporter of IIANC as a member of the 2014 IIANC PARTNERS Program and a Trusted Choice Company Partner.

UPC Insurance writes write HO 3, 4, 5, & 6 in all PCs except 10 with values between $150,000 and $750,000. UPC does not write personal auto, so there is no pressure to include auto in order to secure the HO policy. Secondary properties are not a problem, with or without the primary. Credit scoring is not used as a pricing tool. The UPC HO form includes equipment breakdown as well as ID theft for both reimbursement and fully managed credit restoration. Earthquake and sink hole exposures can be covered as well. With the monoline homeowners, if there is a flood policy written or required, then the flood policy must be written through National Flood Services / StoneRiver.

Should you have a risk in the 18 NCJUA Coastal Plan wind pool counties, UPC Insurance routinely includes wind with a 1% Named Storm deductible. Properties located on the Outer Banks and barrier islands are happily written ex-wind. To the west of the Coastal Plan, property is written with a split dollar deductible.
