For the convenience of agents, IIANC offers a variety of online and self-study education courses. Many of these courses are approved for CE credit in North Carolina.

Important Note About CE Credit With Webinars - You are welcome to have additional staff sit in on the webinar, but the NC DOI attendance verification requirements allow that ONLY THE PERSON REGISTERED FOR THE WEBINAR CAN RECEIVE CE CREDIT. The NC DOI requires that we verify your attendance. We will ask a random question during the webinar and you will be asked to respond. If you fail to respond, we will not be able to award you CE credit.

Agents & Brokers Education Network (ABEN)

IIANC has joined with over 20 other Big I state associations to form the Agents & Brokers Education Network (ABEN) which offers professional insurance training and continuing education using premier, live webcast technology. Housed within each of these state associations are volumes of valuable educational insurance content along with some of the industry’s best instructors. ABEN’s live webcasts pool these resources to offer high quality CE training in your office at a fraction of the cost associated with attending an on-site course. The live webcast will stream professional instructors right into your office, along with related course material and the ability to ask questions and interact with other students as well as with the instructor.

CISR Online

CISR OnLine, sponsored by The Society of Certified Insurance Service Representatives (CISR), is a web-based education and training program offered by the Society of CISR. 

The online course is an extension of the CISR continuing education and training program and is designed for customer service representatives, entry-level sales and support personnel. CISR OnLine provides the same practical information and high-quality education as CISR in the classroom.

MyCast Webinars

The National Alliance is offering a FREE monthly series of MyCast Webinars. These webinars will explore current topics of interest in insurance and risk management. Each webinar will be approximately an hour long and will be hosted by highly qualified National Faculty Members. The webinars are live, so each speaker will be available to answer questions that you may have during or after the webinar.

New Agency Employee Orientation

If you have a new employee on board or are planning a new hire, this online course is for you. This program, sponsored by the Managing Education Resource Group (MERG), is designed for unlicensed employees with less than 12 months experience in the agency. Your employees log on to the course via the computer each week to get the training they need. There is no travel, no interruption to daily agency activity and, most importantly, no time out of the office.
