We are looking for a producer that's looking to grow professionally.  We are a family owned, full service, Independent Insurance Agency located in Southport, NC.  We offer P&C insurance solutions for both personal and commercial clients.  We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to team up with our sales team to help service, process, and grow their book of business.  *Applicants without a current NC P&C license will not be considered.*  Come grow with us in our Southport office.  We can offer you a great opportunity with the ability to grow quickly in your professional career.

 

The Insurance Account Manager/Producer is responsible for handling all aspects of service and processing within a sales team. This position works effectively with all members of the sales and service team to provide a high level of customer satisfaction. There will be an opportunity to sell insurance products as well.  This position is also responsible for carrying the organization’s reputation and professional manner of conducting business into dealing with colleagues, customers and carriers.

*Essential Functions* 

 

Independently manage assigned book of business to ensure optimal retention and allow for overall growth.

Conduct account reviews which includes analyzing coverage, quoting, offering appropriate options and actively soliciting referrals for additional lines of business.

Process, maintain, prepare new and renewal accounts for marketing, placement and delivery.

Update and maintain customer information in the agency management system accurately and efficiently.

Collaborate with colleagues to identify and act on up sell and cross sell opportunities with existing customers within the organization.

Adhere to and comply with organization policies and procedures, sales and service standards, and established workflows.

Demonstrate effective and efficient quality control through proper file documentation and maintenance to comply with organization error and omission standards.

Maintain a concern for timeliness, accuracy and completeness when interacting with customers, colleagues and carriers.

Handle independently or work closely with designated sales and service team to ensure customer service needs are addressed in effective and efficient manner.

Actively participate in organization initiatives and support core values including community involvement.

 

*Knowledge, Skill & Abilities* 

 

College degree preferred or equivalent experience.  Must have at least 2 years of insurance related experience with an active North Carolina P&C license.  Automation knowledge and skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word , Excel, and PowerPoint.  Has the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.  Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills required.
